Day 1 Arrival Amritsar
Arrival Amritsar:
Arrive Amritsar Railway Station. On arrival meet and greet by our representative who will take you to the hotel. Check in hotel.Evening visit Indo-Pak Wagah Border to watch Flag Retreat Ceremony- Wagah, an army outpost on Indo-Pak border 30 Kms from Amritsar where the daily highlight is the evening "Beating the Retreat" ceremony. Soldiers from both countries march in perfect drill, going through the steps of bringing down their respective national flags. As the sun goes down, nationalistic fervour rises and lights are switched on marking the end of the day amidst thunderous applause. Return to hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 2 Amritsar
Amritsar: Pathankot: Mcleodgunj:
Start your full day city tour with the blessings of Golden Temple-the most important sikh shrinewhich is also called Mecca for the Sikhs is a living symbol of the spiritual and historical traditions of the Sikhs.
Then visit Jallianwala Bagh- where, on April 13, 1919, British and Gurkha soldiers opened fire on an unarmed forbidden gathering, killing hundreds of civilians. Then visit Durgiana Temple, the temple of godess of power. You can also do shopping in old Amritsar Market for Ladies Suites and Punjabi Jutti (Traditional Punjab Shoes).
After lunch visit Maharaja Ranjit Singh Summer Palace Museum- The summer place of Maharaja Ranjit Singh which is situated in the heart of Ram Bagh, Amritsar. Afternoon drive to Macleodgunj. On arrival check in the hotel, Overnight at Hotel in Mcleodganj.
Day 3 Mcleodganj
Mcleodganj: Triund (2994 mts/9818 ft.)10 kms/3-4 hrs
After breakfast you can go by trekking to Triund the place of beautiful Deodar trees, Oak Trees, Mountains, plants and valleys. You reached Triund after 10km trekking overnight camping in Triund.
Day 4 Triund
Triund:Lahesh Cave (3598 mts/11800 ft) 9 kms/ 3-4 hrs :
after breakfast you will move for next destination called Ilaqa is snow point in Mcleodganj .The small glacier is called snow point. Here this area is actually shepherd Area. You will take rest and lunch here after 5km trekking this snow point .Then you move more exciting Lehs cave after 2km trekking .This is big Lhes cave normally using for overnight stay.
Day 5 Lahesh Cave
Lahesh Cave:Indrahar Pass (4375 mts/14,350 ft)hatru Parao (12 kms/6 -7 hrs)
After breakfast going for trekking to Indrahar here you will go through soft snow that snow is hard in month of May /July. From top sometime weather is not clear so that time we will advise you to take rest and wait for clear weather. Here you can see beautiful view of Pir Panjal which is the largest range of lower Himalaya�s .After covering 7km to Indrahar by trekking you will go down at Chata Parao that is best place for camping. Overnight stay in Chata Parao.
Day 6 Chatru Parao
Chatru Parao : Kuarsi (2747 mts/9010 ft) 15 kms/ 6 - 7 hrs
After Breakfast from Chata Parao you will do trekking for 8km to Kwarsi which is tribal village area here. This village is covered with thickly Pine Trees the village people are very friendly and helpful that is another exciting experience to staying with these villagers .Overnight in Kwarsi camping.
Day 7 Kuarsi
Kuarsi:Chanota Khas (2634m) 16 Kms:
After Breakfast you will move for Chanota Khas . Chanota Khas is just 16 to 17 km by trekking going through thickly Deodar Trees and Oak Trees. You came across to Gaddi Village here small places inhabited by Gaddi people. Overnight camping in Chanota Khas.
Day 8 Chanota Khas
Chanota Khas: Garola (2250m) 12Kms
After breakfast camp will move for Garola another exciting place to enjoy the beauty of the nature .Garola is surrounded with beautiful flowers, plants, Trees ,Mountains, lakes and valleys. Overnight camping in this beautiful area.
Day 9 Garola
Garola : Bharmaur (14Kms):
After breakfast camp will move for trekking to Bharmaur .Bharmaur is actually is a village area is near to Chamba city this is also your last destination with trekking. Overnight stay in camp or guest house on your Request.
Day 10 Barmaur
Barmaur:Chamba(65 Kms):
In Morning after taking breakfast, drive to Chamba, The Chamba town is also famous for Laxmi Narayan Temple, Champavati Temple , Vajreshwari Temple, Sui Mata Temple, Chamunda Devi Temple, Hari Rai Temple, Bhuj Singh Museum, Chogun and Rang Mahal etc. Overnight in Hotel.
Day 11 Chamba
Chamba: Pathankot / Amritsar
After breakfast, drive to Pathankot/Amritsar, for your onward journey.
