Dharamshala
Dharamsala is located in the Kangra Valley, in the Dhauladhar Mountains, and became the capital of the Kangra District in 1852. Manali

Jaisalmer
Unlike any other city, this desert fortress is one of Rajasthan's most exotic and unusual towns. Jaisalmer, an important ancient trading centre because of its strategic location on the camel trade routes, is often described as the 'golden city'. The havelis, built by merchants of the 19th century, are exquisitely carved from golden-yellow sandstone and are still in a beautiful condition. The fort built by Rawal Jaisal in the 12th century, stands on the 80 metre high Trikuta hill, with beautifully carved Jain temples.

Udaipur
Udaipur includes the magnificent palaces, temples, serene lakes and some interesting sites like museums and the crafts village. Uttaranchal

Corbett
Corbett National Park is a primal jungle as Rudyard Kipling put it. Despite extensive tourism, the park has managed to retain its primeval ambience, where man must walk timorously, in awe and with a strong sense of his own insignificance. Set up in 1936 as India's first national park and possibly the finest, the Corbett National Park was first delimited in consultation with that great hunter and conserver, Jim Corbett. The park spans across some 920.9 square km at an altitude of 600 to 1100 metres about the foothills of the western Himalayas in the districts of Nainital and Pauri Garhwal in the state of Uttaranchal. In its eventful 64-year life, it has grown considerably in size and now includes the Sonanadi Wildlife Sanctuary as a part of its 1,319 sq km of reserved forest area.
Haridwar
Haridwar - the land that signifies god. It is one of the twelve holiest places revered by Hindus and also believed to be one amongst the seven cities touched by god. Numerous legends are associated with every holy spot in Haridwar and that is what makes every bit all the more captivating. An ancient city, it finds mention in most old scriptures like in the writings of first millennium Chinese traveller, Hyuen Tsang. At no time of the year you will find it devoid of any devotees. Reasons are many. For one, Haridwar is the place where Ganga first enters the plains. It is one of the four venues of Kumbh Mela (Nasik, Prayag and Ujjain being the other three) which is held once at each of these locations in twelve years. It is also the location of some of the ancient schools of tradition, the original kind of gurukuls, where ayurveda is taught. The entire landscape is dotted with Siddhapeeths and Shaktipeeths as well as old and new temples.
Mussoorie
Mussoorie, located some 250 miles north of Delhi, capital of India, is among the most popular hill stations of India, and is called the Queen among the hill stations. It overlooks the sprawling Doon valley and the city of Dehradun, the gateway to Mussoorie and infact to the entire Garhwal.Mussoorie, a hill resort at a height of around 7000 ft above the sea level, straddles a ridge in the Garhwal Himalayas - a region which is developing into a major tourism destination. The holy and mighty river Ganga is visible from one end of the ridge and another famous river Jamuna from the other, a stretch of around twelve miles in all, from Cloud's end in the west to Jabarkhet in the east. Although Mussoorie, as a hill station was established only as back as in 1823, it has quite an intriguing past.
Nainital
Nainital, the Lake District of India, located in the Himalayan belt amongst the Kumaon hills, is a paradise for nature lovers. A splendid holiday spot with a rich treasure of lakes and hills, Nainital is a destination for the young and the old alike.Nainital is referred to as the lake of three sages, or the Tri Rishi Sarovar as mentioned in the Manas Khand chapter of the Skanda Purana. As recorded in history, the three sages, Atri, Pulastya, and Pulaha stopped over at Nainital on their pilgrimage, to quench their thirst. Finding no water, they dug a hole and transferred some water into it from the sacred lake of Tibet, Mansarovar. Thus the famous lake of Nainital came into existence. Another legend has it that the left eye or Nain of Lord Shiva's wife Sati fell in this center and formed an emerald eye shaped lake and thus emerged the city of Nainital.

Taj Mahal: Agra is famous as being home to one of the seven wonders of the world- the Taj-Mahal. Varanasi
Varanasi, a city of traditional classical culture, is the microcosm of Hinduism. Kumarakom
The village of Kumarakom is a cluster of little islands on the Vembanad Lake in Kerala, a state in India. Geographically, it is located at 9.35 North and 76.26 East. Kumarakom's soil is extremely fertile due to the proximity of the water source, this has resulted in the growth of a wide variety of flora in Kumarakom, especially the mangrove and coconut trees. Vembanad Lake is home to several types of marine life exclusively the 'Karimeen' (Pearl Spotted Fish), the 'Chemeen' (Prawns) and the 'Konju' (Tiger Prawns).

Madurai
Madurai is one of the important cities in South India. The seventh largest city in Tamil Nadu, it is situated in the banks of river Vaigai.
