Day 2 DELHI

Day 3 DELHI/AMRITSAR

DELHI/AMRITSAR:
Early morning Breakfast at the hotel. Later drive to Amritsar. Check in hotel. Evening visit Indo-Pak Wagah Border to watch Flag Retreat Ceremony- Wagah, an army outpost on Indo-Pak border 30 Kms from Amritsar where the daily highlight is the evening "Beating the Retreat" ceremony. Soldiers from both countries march in perfect drill, going through the steps of bringing down their respective national flags. As the sun goes down, nationalistic fervour rises and lights are switched on marking the end of the day amidst thunderous applause. Return to hotel. Overnight stay.

Day 4 DELHI / AMRITSAR

Day 5 AMRITSAR/DHARMSHALA

Early morning Breakfast at the hotel. Golden Temple-the most important sikh shrine which is also called Mecca for the Sikhs is a living symbol of the spiritual and historical traditions of the Sikhs.

Then visit Jallianwala Bagh- where, on April 13, 1919, British and Gurkha soldiers opened fire on an unarmed forbidden gathering, killing hundreds of civilians. After lunch Afternoon drive to Dharamshala On arrival check in at the hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to enjoy at leisure. We suggest you enjoy a walk alog te mall road, where Tibetan refugees display and sell their crafts. Overnight stay at hotel in Dharamsala.

Day 6 DHAMSHALA-MANALI VIA MANDI

Day 8 MANALI TO KEYLONG

Day 9 KEYLONG TO SARCHU

After breakfast we leave for Sarchu on the border between Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir. you can see the nomadic Gaddi people and an army outpost here. On the way we stop at Barchala Pass (4891 m). At Barchala, which means ?a pass with cross roads," the roads from Ladakh, Zanskar, Lahaul and Spiti intersect. Stay overnight at tents in Sarchu.

Day 10 SARCHU TO LEH

After Breakfast we leave for leh. On the way we halt for lunch at Lachluang La (5079 m). We arrive at Leh in the evening on arrival in Leh you will meet by our representative and check in at our hotel for overnight stay in Leh.

Day 12 Leh

Shey it was the ancient capital of Ladakh and even after Singge Namgyal built the more imposing palace at Leh, the kings continued to regard Shey, as their real home. The importance which was attached to Shey - the seat of Ladakh heartland - is attested by the enormous number of Chorten about the village, particularly around the palace complex and barren plain to the north of the road.
Thiksey is one of the largest and most impressive Gompas. There are several temples in this Gompa containing images, stupas and exquisite wall paintings. It also houses a two - storied statue of Buddha which has the main prayer hall around its shoulder.
Hemis which is dedicated to Padmasambhava, what a visitor can observes a series of scenes in which the lamas, robed in gowns of rich, brightly colored brocade and sporting masks sometimes bizarrely hideous, parade in solemn dance and mime around the huge flag pole in the center of the courtyard to the plaintive melody of the Shawn. Day 13 LEH

Day 15 FATEHPUR SIKRI

Day 16 FATEHPUR SIKRI /GWALIOR

After Breakfast, you will drive for Gwalior. At arrival check in Gwalior Hotel. After fresh up visit The Gwalior Fort. Gwalior Fort dominates the city and is its most magnificent monument. It has been a scene of momentous events : imprisonments, battles and jauhars. Ovrnight Stay in Gwalior Hotel.

Day 17 ORCHA

After Breakfast, you will drive for Orchha. Upon arrival check in hotel. Orchha is famous for its palaces and temples built in the 17th and 18th century. Later visit the four main and important temples - The Chaturbhuj, Janaki, Laxmi and The Raja Ram temples. Evening free for leisure.

Day 18 Orchha

After breakfast drive to Khajuraho.Khajuraho is a world famous site that hosts magnificent erotic temples built by the Chandela King. On arrival in Khajuraho city, check in the hotel. Later enjoy temple tour where you will see the 22 temples divided in theEastern and Western Groups. The temples here are dedicated to lord Shiva,Lord Vishnu and also to the Buddhist and Jain deities.

Morning is kept free to rest. Later transferred to airport to board flight to Varanasi. Varanasi is an important pilgrimage city for the Hindus in India, located at the banks of River Ganges. On arrival check in the hotel. Later visit Sarnath. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 20 SAMRATH

Pick up from your hotel and Visit the Ghats and listen to the local legends from the guide. This trip will include a boat ride on the Ganges along with a visit to the major temple Kashi Vishwanath. Upon ending your tour of the Ghats and temples, drive towards Sarnath and pay a visit to the main temple and the archeological site. Tour ends with your drop at the hotel.

Day 21 Varanasi

Early in the morning, take a boat ride on the holy River Ganges. Later after breakfast and some rest transfer to the airport to board flight to Delhi. Overnight Stay.
